Kusatsu. Sainokawara Open-Air Bath
A camera in the Kusatsu suburb is located at the entrance to the Sainokawara baths, which are filled with natural hot springs, as shown by this camera. As you can see, the territory of the park is landscaped with paved paths along which you can reach the baths, as well as the park cliffs.
The water temperature makes it possible to receive visitors all year round, so many tourists come here in the winter or autumn to dip in a hot bath, while the air temperature does not exceed 0° C and can be much lower.
Near Sainokawara Park, there are other popular tourist sites, such as Yubatake Hot Spring or the Kataoka Art Museum, as well as souvenir shops, restaurants and cafes of traditional Japanese cuisine.
For the convenience of tourists who come to the park, there are several hotels right at the entrance. Prices here are the highest in the resort. For example, at Kusatsu Hotel a room costs 14,000 yen ($128).
