Tsuruta. Highway along the Village

Tsuruta is known for being home to the longest wooden footbridge in Japan. There is a popular belief that you will live a long life if you cross it.

Another attraction in the town is Fujimi Lake where every year a popular cherry blossom festival takes place. The famous volcano Iwaki is, by the way, also seen from there.

The current webcam shows a highway that stretches along the town of Tsuruta. It is a highest quality road that connects this town to many other places in Aomori, making transportation between them quick and easy.
