Naivasha. Lake Naivasha

These cameras are installed on the western island of Lake Naivasha, which is part of Naivasha National Park. The lake is located 50 kilometers northwest of the Kenyan capital, Nairobi.

The first cam is directed toward the Aberder Ridge, where another country’s national park is located. Due to its unique landscape, with a height difference of more than two kilometers, Aberder Park attracts many tourists.

It may seem that there is not a living soul near the cam, but it is not true. Just 500 meters away, on the western shore of the lake is Wileli House, where guests can find a cozy and comfortable chalet.

The lake’s name can be translated as “rough water,” due to the sudden storms that regularly occur in the Great Rift Valley.
