Founded on the basis of the Liechtenstein School of Engineering in 1960-s this institution received the status as a university in 2011.

The University of Liechtenstein is situated in the beautiful city of Vaduz, the capital of Liechtenstein. This ancient city has interesting history and architecture. The most famous landmark of Vaduz is Vaduz Castle, the official residence of the Prince of Liechtenstein.
