Nida. The Quay of the Yacht-Club
Nida is a charming resort town situated on the Curonian Spit. This webcam is located on the territory of one of the popular yacht-clubs in Lithuania.
Strict planning regulations, when new developments are permitted only on old buildings’ foundations, and a small number of hotel rooms keeps the number of visitors of Nida low. Being a great summer resort, this place can host just some 200,000 to 300,000 tourists each season.
Top-list of the town’s attractions and interesting events includes the annual jazz festival, some of the highest sand dunes in Europe, fisherman’s ethnographic museum and gallery-museum of amber.
Local angler’s houses have charming red-blue coloring and serve as symbols of Nida and the Curonian Spit.
