Katima Mulilo. The Botswana Border

Everyone knows that residents of African countries have difficulties with fresh water supplies. So, the settlements here are built on the banks of rivers. The tourist infrastructure is also developing here, like in Chobe River Camp.

A double room with a view of the Kwando River costs almost $120 per day, but you will have services that are unusual for Africa, like a year-round outdoor pool, or a garden with a sun terrace where you can taste the dishes of a local restaurant.

From cozy small houses of a resort, tourists can go on fascinating travel along the river. They can take a canoe or pleasure boat. In addition, it is possible to rent all the necessary gear for fishing on the border river (the territory of Botswana begins on the opposite side of the Kwando).

In this region of Namibia, there are a lot of elephants; you can meet these huge animals anywhere.
