Haarlem is a city and municipality in the Netherlands. It’s the capital of North Holland.
This old city has a rich history dating back to pre-medieval times.
The webcam is located on Grote Markt, which is the central market square of Haarlem. You can also see Grote Kerk (or St.-Bavokerk). A Protestant church and former Catholic cathedral.
The Vleeshal is another historical building, which is also situated on Grote Markt. Vleeshal (which means “meat-hall”) was the only place in Haarlem where fresh meat was allowed to be sold from 1604 to the 18th century.
