Scheveningen. Panorama of the Beach

Scheveningen is a resort area of The Hague, with a chic beach and harbor. The camera of the surfing school, Hart Beach, shows us this area, including its beach pavilions, hiking and bicycle paths, a pier with a lighthouse, and coastal restaurants and cafes.

The surf school is open all year round, but it is best to learn surfing in the summer months, when the North Sea warms up to 20 ° C. Hart Beach employs only highly qualified specialists, with certificates from the British Surfing Association (BSA), and water rescuers. Five lessons, with theory and practice, cost 140 euros at this school.

On the sand, we can see a stadium for playing beach volleyball and football, nightclubs, and restaurants. One of the main attractions of the beach is a modern pier, with a ferris wheel, bars and restaurants, as well as an observation deck. A ticket for the ferris wheel cost 9 euros, in 2017. For this money, you will rise above the coast four times and be able to enjoy the views of The Hague for 10 minutes.
