Utrecht. Construction of a Shopping Center in Leidsche Rijn

The new district of Utrecht, Leidsche Rijn, is actively developing. Almost everywhere you can see construction equipment, not only in industrial areas where the largest shopping centers of the city are being built, but also in residential areas where new residents of Leidsche Rijn are being settled.

The successful location of the district (it is near the railway station, as well as at the intersection of several major highways) turns Leidsche Rijn into an attractive place to live. Not only do the townspeople from the outskirts move here, but those who have long settled in the very center of Utrecht do as well.

The construction is maintained according to the classical schemes of European cities, all buildings are low-rise. Those 2-3 skyscrapers that you see in the background have long been recognized as a town-planning mistake.

The new district offers jobs to the Dutch, and in the future, huge business centers are planned to be built here, so that local residents do not have to go to work to the center of Utrecht or other cities.
