Genoa. Center-Levante
The webcam is in Genoa. It’s a panoramic view of the east side of the city center.
In the foreground is the tower with jagged ornaments, stairs and crossings of the Mackenzie Castle, located in the Castelletto district. It was built in the late 19th century for the owner of the insurance business, Evan Mackenzie, and even then, the castle had central heating, hot water in the bathrooms and a heated pool.
Having survived years of oblivion and several owners, the five-story mansion became the property of the auction house, Kambi, in 2002 and, after a major restoration in 2004, exhibitions and auctions have been held here.
