We can see the skyscrapers of the economic center of the Kingdom of Bahrain. We are looking at the capital of the country from the neighboring city of Muharraq, which also has a lot of attractions, like the international airport of Bahrain and the bulk islands around Muharraq. It is also worth noting that Muharraq was the capital of Bahrain until 1923.
But, back to the panorama of Manama. A huge number of skyscrapers does not fit in with the demographic situation of the city, only 150-200 thousand people live here, so the architectural masterpieces of Manama are more likely to prove a prosperous economic situation in the country, connected mainly with the extraction of oil and gas.
Among the many skyscrapers you see on the screen are several interesting and attractive buildings. The pointed towers of the Bahrain World Trade Center have long become one of the symbols of the kingdom. Their height reaches a mark of 240 meters. It is interesting that the towers are connected by air bridges, on which wind generators are built, which generate energy for the needs of the skyscraper itself.
But these towers did not remain the largest in the country for long. As early as 2009, a new record holder, Bahrain Financial Harbor, with a height of 260 meters, appeared in Manama. The twisted United Tower, made in the form of a drill, can be called the most elegant of all buildings.
