Kaprun. Langwiedboden Station
Kitzsteinhorn is a cherished goal for many travelers from all over the world. This mountain is located in the vicinity of the Kaprun community. To get to its top, you need to overcome several stages. Of course, they do not require your physical strength if you use local cable cars.
Let’s sort it out. First, you need to get to Kaprun. After that, you need to go to the suburb at the foot of Kitzsteinhorn, where a couple of lifts work, and there is a huge parking area for tourists. You can come here either by car or on a shuttle bus running between the lower station of the funicular and Kaprun.
Once in front of the cable car, you need to choose one of two ways, Panoramabahn or Gletscherjet I. These lifts will take you 1 kilometer up, and you will arrive at the Langwiedboden station, which you can see on your screen now. So, in order to get to Kitzsteinhorn , you will have to change a couple of times to other lifts of the resort.
The camera shows us a station built at an altitude of almost 2 kilometers above sea level, and the height of Kitzsteinhorn is 1 kilometer higher!
