Fanano. Cimoncino Ski Resort

The camera of the restaurant, Rifugio Zambelli, shows us the ski slopes of Cimoncino Resort. It was named after Monte Cimone, located in the center of Italy, near the community of Fanano.

We are at an altitude of 1,430 meters above sea level. The highest point of the mountain itself, Monte Chimone, is 2,165 meters. At the top are several stations and antennas for various purposes, from meteorological to military.

Most ski runs on the slopes of the mountain have an average degree of complexity. All areas for skiing are connected by a network of lifts, as many as 23 of them. Most of them are comfortable chairlifts. A weekend ski pass is only 30 euros, and on weekdays the price is 25 percent less.

In total, the ski area of Cimone includes 55 kilometers of trails, as well as a snowpark and baby park for the youngest visitors of the resort.
