Mariborsko Pohorje. Lower Cableway Station

Mariborsko Pohorje is a ski resort in northeastern Slovenia, built in the suburbs of Maribor. This camera shows us a modern cabin lift, the only lift of this type in the resort. In addition, 16 rope tows and 5 chairlifts serve the ski slopes.

This number of funiculars is due to the length of the trails. With a single ticket, you can test up to 40 kilometers of the slopes of the Mariborsko Pohorje resort. Such a ticket costs only 31 euros (the price is 1.5 — 2 times less than in the Alpine resorts in neighboring Austria).

Besides ski runs, you will find spa centers, discos and nightclubs, restaurants and bars, a fitness center, cross-country tracks for skiing, snowtubing and tobogganing, hiking trails in the summer months, a swimming pool and much more.

We are looking at the lower station of the cableway. There are trails with a difference of heights from 325 to 1,327 meters above sea level.
