Mariapfarr. Panorama of Mount Fanninberg
The flying camera of the Mariapfarr Resort shows us the ski slopes of Mount Fanninberg. This resort does not have a wide variety of routes and ropeways, but nevertheless gained popularity with tourists due to its magnificent landscapes and convenient infrastructure. You can get to the bottom station of the Samson-Jet ski lift from any neighboring village, where the hotels, restaurants, and other establishments for tourists are located.
The first cableway to the summit of Fanningberg was built in 1969. Today, in addition to the aforementioned six-seater chairlift with the hood, Samson-Jet, there are other lifts, such as the six-seater Zirbenjet (it can be seen in the background, on the northern part of the mountain), as well as three drag lifts on small slopes.
The ski resort is located at an altitude of 1,501 to 2,150 meters above sea level. Fanninberg trails will suit both beginners and professionals because the routes have different degrees of complexity.
Thanks to the archive of entries from the flying camera, you can choose the most convenient time for visiting the resort.
