Schierke. Circular view. Winterbergtor Parking
We are in Schierke, a German resort village in the heart of the country.
As in any popular tourist place, there was a problem with parking in Schierke because small streets could not accommodate all the guests of the resort. The problem was solved with a covered parking lot, Winterbergtor, on the roof of which this rotary camera is installed. The cost of parking depends on the selected package of services. For example, if you are going to travel through the mountains, you can park your car in the parking lot and get a ticket for the HSB train for 30 euros; however, parking is free for the guests of the Brocken Coaster complex.
We can see not only the parking lot and the road leading to the village, but also the panorama of the German town. Medieval buildings and small streets offer pleasant walking tours and unhurried evenings on the verandas of local cafes and restaurants. Schierke is on the outskirts of the famous national parks in the mountains of Brocken and Harz, located northwest of the village. In the winter, tobogganing and skiing are common on the small hills in the vicinity of Schierke.
