Adler. Imeretinsky Resort Area

The multicamera of the Imeretinsky district in Sochi gives a complete picture of what is happening in this resort area. On the screen, we can see resort hotels, roads and beaches. Imeretinsky is located between the Olympic Park and Adler. The region is named after the lowland located on the Black Sea coast, in the interfluve of the rivers Mzymta and Psou.

The common lowland area is about 1,300 hectares. It is actively built up by hotels and small holiday villages. In addition, tourists can find the ruins of a Christian church here, presumably built at the turn of the 9th and 10th centuries.

Imeretinsky won the Green Awards contest, twice, which means that vacationers can count on the ecology and energy efficiency of the area. Next to this resort area, there is a dendrological park with a lot of rare plants, and in Imeretinsky itself, more than 20 hectares is occupied by an ornithological park with lakes, where birds listed in the Red Book nest.

Fans of outdoor activities can find 25-meter-long swimming pools, multi-sports grounds for mini-football, volleyball, basketball, badminton, floorball and other outdoor games in the area. Also available here are tennis courts, with a professional cover, and rental of sports equipment.
