Mostar. The Old Bridge over the River of Neretva
The beautiful and old city of Mostar is often being called country’s second capital. This place has a very old history in which the free spirit and mystery of the Ottomans joins with the European carefulness.
The main attraction of Mostar is the Old Bridge over the River of Neretva. It was built in the 16th-century by the Ottomans, but destroyed in 1993 during the war. The bridge was reconstructed in 2004 and today is added to the list of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
