Monfalcone. Duka d'Aosta Street

This webcam is located in the town of Monfalcone that lies on the coast of the Gulf of Trieste. The town is situated between the Carso hills and the Adriatic Sea, at the foot of an old castle built in 490 AD by Theoderic the Great, king of the Ostrogoths. Today the castle serves quite peacefully as a speleology museum.

Other places of interest in Monfalcone are the Park of the First World War and the beautiful Cathedral of Saint Ambrogio. Our webcam shows one of the town’s central streets, Via Duka d’Aosta (Street of Duka d’Aosta).

In addition, Monfalcone is the northernmost port of the Adriatic Sea.
