Lausanne. Palud Square

This webcam is located in Lausanne, the forth-largest city in Switzerland. It shows us one of the central squares of the city, the Palud Square. It connects the old part of Lausanne with the Cathedral of Notre Dame of Lausanne, one of the most important points of touristic interest.

In the middle of the square stands the beautiful Fountain of Justice, to the right – building of the local City Hall. By the way, the International Olympic Committee was founded according to the agreement signed here in 1915.

The Palud Square is surrounded by a row of beautiful 18-19th century buildings and is a sure “must see” in your sightseeing program. If you also want to try local food, visit it on Wednesday or Saturday. You can take a look at the large food market which supplies the best restaurants of the city and, at the same time, try some of the local delicacies.
