Tynda. The Town Administration

This webcam is located in the town of Tynda. Tynda lies in Amur Oblast of Russian Federation. The settlement was granted town status in 1975, during the construction of the famous Baikal-Amur Mainline.

Building on the right side of the picture is the local town administration. To the left you can see the beautiful Cathedral of Holy Trinity. This is a quite new cathedral, opened in October 2001.

Tynda is easily accessible throughout the year both by rail and by air. The town is served by the Tynda Airport, which is located just some 15 kilometers from the center of the town.
