Lugano District. Monte Generoso. View over the Lake

This webcam is located on the top of the Mount Generoso that lies on the border between Switzerland and Italy. The western (captured by the webcam) and southern flanks of the mountain belong to the Swiss canton of Ticino, while the northern and eastern — to the Italian Lombardy.

At the same time, this mountain lies between two beautiful lakes — Lake Lugano and Lake Como. The last one can be seen on our picture.

The top of the Mount Generoso with its main attraction, the Monte Generoso Observatory, can be reached easily by a railway.
