Torri del Benaco. View over the Lake Garda

This webcam is located in the northern part of Torri del Benaco. This town lies on the eastern coast of the Lake Garda, about 130 kilometres from Venice and about 30 kilometres from Verona. On the opposite side of the lake can be seen the town of Toscolano-Maderno, which lies at the feet of the Monte Pizzocolo, often called simply Naso di Napoleone (“Napoleon’s nose”), as its shape resembles the profile of Napoleon’s nose.

On the top of the Monte Pizzocolo tourists will find bunkers and trenches from the times of the first world war. From its highest point, located at the altitude of 1581 metres, opens stunning view over the Lake Garda with surrounding hamlets and villages. By the way, Torri del Benaco is also seen from there.

This town is famous for its mediaeval churches and a 14th-century castle, which now houses an Ethnographic Museum. This webcam is located on the roof of the Hotel Villa Carlotta built right on the coast in the outskirts of the town.
