Warsaw. View over the City. Palace of Culture and Science

This webcam is located in the center of the beautiful city of Warsaw and captures one of its architectural sites, Palace of Culture and Science. This multi-story building (42 floors, 237 meters high totally), which represents a very good example of the Stalinist Empire style, was a gift made to the capital city of Poland by Joseph Stalin himself.

Today it hosts a congress center, a concert hall, several libraries and a drama theater. The Polish Academy of Science is also well situated here.

This wonderful panoramic view over the center of Warsaw opens from the observation platform, located on the 30rd floor.

In the far distance we can see the famous Saint Kazimierz Church, reconstructed in 1947-1953 after the World War II.
