Miranda do Corvo. View of the village
In the suburb of the Portuguese Coimbra is the small town of Miranda do Corvo, where the famous Casa das Artes art house is situated. The modern design of the new building represents a combination of rural and urban life. Since the village is located in a hilly area, the architects have made the roof of their creation in the style of the mountains.
In front of you is the rural landscape of the Portuguese heartland. It takes only a few minutes to walk from the place where the camera is installed to the bright red architectural dominant. Holidaymakers rarely stay in such places, rather Miranda do Corvo is used to meeting the local population and the Portuguese tourists on its streets. But even in such a remote ocean town, you can find great offers from hotels and of course, taste real Portuguese food in local restaurants and cafes.
There are tourists, who stop at some distance from the beaches of the Atlantic coast in order to save on housing, and they spend that saved money on renting a car, by means of which they can not only reach the water, but also travel around the country.
