Ekaterinburg. The Cathedral on the Blood. The Panoramic View
This webcam is located in Ekaterinburg. Being the fourth-largest city in Russia, it lies near the border of Europe and Asia, right in the middle of the Eurasian continent. The camera’s objective captures the city center and the shore of Iset River, which is a popular recreational place for dwellers of Ekaterinburg.
The most famous attraction of the city is the Church on Blood in Honour of All Saints Resplendent in the Russian Land. It was built in 2003 on the same place, where the Bolsheviks shot Nicholas II, the last Emperor of Russia, and his family in July 1918.
Other landmarks of Ekaterinburg are the beautiful Rastorguyev-Kharitonov Palace and the Old Railway Station. If you have some spare time, you can as well visit the Border of Europe and Asia, located just outside the city, or Ekaterinburg Circus.
