This webcam shows us the entrance to the museum located on the territory of the Kirillo-Belozersky Monastery. Today, Kirillo-Belozersky Monastery is an important religious center of Northern Russia, visited by thousands pilgrims. Over ages, it has kept its position as the largest monastery of the region.

Kirillo-Belozersky Monastery is a very popular tourist destination. It was founded in the end of the 14th century on the bank of beautiful Lake Siverskoye. Among main attractions on the territory of the monastery we can mention over ten beautiful churches (dating to 16th century), medieval walls (which are 7 meters thick) and towers, constructed in the end of the 17th century.

The Church of the Assumption of Mary was built in 1497. Today this beautiful building hosts the museum of the Monastery.
