Kizhi. Kizhi Architectural Ensemble

In front of you, with a tented bell tower, are the buildings which any resident of Russia can easily recognize, in Kizhi: the Church of the Intercession of the Virgin and the Church of Transfiguration of the Lord.

This unique open-air museum is well known outside the country. In 1990, the Kizhi Pogost was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
