Norilsk. Theatre Square

It’s a view of the square in front of one of the best and most famous theaters of the Krasnoyarsk Region — Norilsk Polar Drama Theater, named after Vladimir Mayakovsky.

In winter, a snow town with a slide, a festively decorated Christmas tree and ice and snow figures, beautifully illuminated at night time, are built at Theater Square.

And in summer, the area is the venue for various events, entertainers and pop bands’ performances.

You can buy tickets for performances at the box offices, located directly in the theater building.

Admirers of the stage art can easily get to the theater by public transport, thanks to the two public transportation stops, which are nearby in Leninsky Avenue.

However, it can be problematic for car owners to find vacant parking spaces in the vicinity of the theater.
