Saint-Petersburg. Liteiny Prospect
In front of us is one of the most important highways of the northern Russian capital, Liteiny Prospect. The camera is installed near the intersection of the street with Nevsky Prospect, above the entrance of Nebar.
On its three floors, Nebar houses two dance floors, a restaurant and a bar. There are some more entertainment venues and shops at the same address, 57B Liteiny Prospect.
The construction of a foundry and cannon yard, which started on the left bank of the Neva, in 1711, gave name to the avenue which we see on the screen. After the events of 1917, the avenue was named after Volodarsky and bore his name till 1944, when
the historical name of Liteiny was returned to the avenue before lifting the blockade of the city during World War II.
Since we are in the center of the city, it is not surprising that close to Nebar are many attractions, such as the Sheremetev Palace with the Museum of Music, Anna Akhmatova Museum at the Fountain House, State Drama Theatre “On Liteiny,” Anichkov Bridge, St. Petersburg Law Institute of the Academy of General Prosecutor’s Office of the Russian Federation and other interesting city facilities.
