Ljubljana Airport is not the busiest of European airports, which is not surprising, considering the total population of the country. The number of passengers passing through Jože Pučnik Airport, annually, is commensurate with the number of inhabitants of Slovenia.

The airport is not located in the city but outside it, by about 25 kilometers, near the village of Brnik. You can get to Ljubljana by bus or by taxi. Also, special transfers are organized to connect the main airport of the country with the capital and other cities.
