Portorož. The Harbour and the Gulf

This webcam is located in the picturesque Gulf of Trieste, the Adriatic Sea, on the territory of the popular sea resort of Portorož. Air in this charming place represents an unforgettable mixture of scents from nearby pinewoods, sea and fragrance from millions roses (name Portorož literally means “Port of Roses”).

Our webcam captures one of the yacht schools, situated in the marina of Portorož. The harbor is naturally protected from big waves from the sea and provides perfect conditions for training of new beginners. A slow wind about 6-12 knots allows you polish up your yacht sailing skills without problem.
