Rogla Ski Resort. The Ski Lift

This webcam is located in the Rogla Ski Resort in Slovenia. Since 1997 this has been a major training place of the Slovenian National Olympic Team and venue of the European Cup of Ski Mountaineering. Rogla Ski Resort occupies area of 90 hectares in the Julian Alps and is one of the largest ski resorts in the region.

The resort lies at an elevation of 1517 metres above the sea level. To get to the peak skiers and visitors of the center can use local lifts (one of them is captured by our webcam).

Rogla Ski Resort offers great possibilities for an active winter or summer vacation. A wide range of local attractions includes 14 ski pistes, biking and hiking trips, tennis courts and roller-skating. If you want to take a respite from snow and ski, visit the popular Spa Resort of Zrece. It is located just some 15 kilometres from Rogla and, in addition, has some interesting touristic sites like the Saint Giles’s Parish Church and observation platform with a great panoramic view over the beautiful city.
