Tolmin. In the Center of the Town

This webcam is located in the center of the charming Tolmin, Slovenia. This town serves as administrative, cultural and commercial center of the region of Zgornje Posočje.

Tolmin lies in the Upper Soča Valley, on a terrace above the confluence of the beautiful Soča and Tolminka rivers. Proximity of the Julian Alps makes local summers cool and nice, while mild winters are ensured by the Adriatic Sea in the neighborhood.

Tolmin attracts tourists with its beautiful and traditional Alpine farms producing famous Tolminc Cheese. This local delicacy is made of raw cow milk and has very sweet and spicy taste at the same time.

Another popular natural attraction are the Tolmin gorges, which are the lowest and southernmost entry point of the Triglav National Park.
