Port Elizabeth. The Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium

This webcam is located in the city of Port Elizabeth, which is the fifth-largest in South Africa. This is a modern, industrial city with a huge incline into motor vehicle assembling and servicing. Port Elizabeth is situated in the beautiful Algoa Bay, and, having extremely favorable outlet to the Indian and South Atlantic oceans, holds the position of one of the major seaports in South Africa. If we take a closer look at the camera, we can see the brand new cars coming on board the cargo ships one after another.

South from the city port starts the resort area with wonderful coastline and perfectly developed tourist infrastructure. Length of the local beachline is about 40 kilometres, with predominance of “blue flag” zones. The most exotic beaches can be found on a significant distance from the center of the city.

The modern Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium was built in 2009 at the North End Lake just a few hundred meters from the Algoa Bay. This is a giant 48000-seater stadium, one of the three built to host the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
