Bad Ragaz. SAC Сableway

This is another viewpoint at the ski resort in Bad Ragaz. This time we are at a height of 2,214 meters. Located here is the upper station of the SAC cableway, as well as the panoramic restaurant, Berggasthaus.

It must be said that in front of us is one of the most picturesque and dangerous places in the Pizol ski resort. The route, which you see on the screen, goes to the Bad Ragaz community and passes by sharp rocky cliffs. Fortunately, everything necessary is done for the safety of tourists, such as anticrossing barriers, and the slant of the trails is correct.

Do not be surprised that a simple drag lift is used in this part of the resort. SAC serves only Valais ski slope. In total, the resort has more than 10 funiculars of various types. Together they serve 43 kilometers of excellent trails for snowboarding and skiing. The resort is based in two communities, Bad Ragaz and Wangs. You can get from the SAC station to any of them, you just have to choose the direction for skiing.

On the left are the slopes of Mount Garmil, whose peak is at an altitude of 2,003 meters above sea level.
