Basel. The Market Square

This webcam is located in the very heart of the ancient city of Basel and captures its historical core, the Market Square (“Marktplatz”).

To the right you can see the beautiful red building of the Town Hall (“Rathaus”). It was built more than 500 years ago and it still serves as a meeting place for the City Council.

The Town Hall is open for public, so you can visit it during your stay in Basel.
