Saas-Grund. Hohsaas Ski Resort

We are in the Pennines Alps. This camera is installed in one of the ski resorts in the Saas Valley. You should not be confused by the gentle slope you see on the screen because it is only an intermediate station of the Hohsaas complex.

If you use the Kreuzboden lift, which we see on the left, you can climb the main routes of Mount Weissmies, starting at an altitude of 3,200 meters above sea level. Mountaineers who want to conquer the mountain peak have to be patient because the height of Weissmies is 4,017 meters.

Well, if you come to Saas-Grund to go skiing and snowboarding, climbing the ski track will not take much energy. You just need to buy a ski pass that will allow you to use all the cableways of the resort without restriction. A weekly ticket costs about 280 euros, and a daily one is 50 euros.

Kreuzboden Station, where we are now, is one of the favorite places of tourists. There is a panoramic restaurant, a small lake and a children’s playground.
