Muottas Muragl is one of the tops of Blais da Muottas, which offers stunning views of the Swiss district of Maloja. From an altitude of 2,450 meters above sea level, we can see the Celerina and Samedan communities, Lake St. Moritz, and also the ski resorts above this lake.

Muottas Muragl has gained wide popularity after the construction of the funicular, which quickly delivers tourists from the Punt-Muragl district to this peak. Here you will find not only a great observation deck, but also a large restaurant with a panoramic terrace, as well as the Romantik Hotel Muottas Muragl. The prices here are high, a double room with breakfast costs at least € 262, but it’s worth it. By the way, the cost of the room includes an ascent and descent on the funicular.

In 2007, the oldest ski lift in the Engadin region celebrated its centenary. In addition to Muotas Muragl, Samedan annually attracts thousands of golf fans to Golf Engadin St. Moritz.
