Zermatt. The Church

This webcam is located in the beautiful town of Zermatt, which lies at the foot of Switzerland’s highest mountains. In this resort town tourists can combine alpine skiing with quite interesting sightseeing program.

In the focus of our webcam, you can see the charming town church. On the adjacent cemetery are buried not only local people of Zermatt, but as well mountaineers who died during their ascents (or descents) of the Matterhorn, a symbol of Zermatt and one of the highest peaks of the Alps and Europe.

The interior of this church is quite modern, with a quite outstanding wall painting based on “The Last Judgement”.
