Zermatt. View from the Trockener Steg

This webcam is located on the top of the mount Trockener Steg, which is a midstation on the way to the Klein Matterhorn. The last one is one of the highest peaks of the Swiss Alps and the highest place in Europe that can be reached by a cable car. This rout is very popular among amateurs thanks to the flat and easy local slopes.

The nearby Stockhorn is mostly used by professional skiers, while slopes of the Sunnegga mountain can be as well conquered by less experienced people.

The neighboring Theodul Glacier is a worldwide renowned mecca for lovers of snowboard.
