Chumphon. The Luang River

We are on the border with Laos, on the Luang River. Just 4 kilometers from the place you see on the screen, the river merges with the wider and more famous Mekong River.

The camera is located in the temple of Wat Thung Rat. Thailand is known for its religious institutions, which are continuously being built all over the country. Therefore, in even the smallest province, one can find religious buildings with beautiful architecture. Wat Thung Rat is located between residential areas and blends harmoniously into the urban development.

Most of Chumphon is occupied by agricultural fields, and small settlements are densely built along rivers.
