Kalkan. Korsan Fish Terrace

Kalkan is a Turkish resort between two airports (Dalaman and Antalya) on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. Historically it was a fishing village, like many settlements in Turkey located along the sea, but in the second half of the 20th century it became a full-fledged resort.

The camera is installed in the restaurant, Korsan Fish Terrace, which belongs to the Korsan Company operating in Kalkan, in the field of tourism. In addition to restaurants and cafes, Korsan also owns villas, hotels and apartments in this Turkish resort. Thanks to the work of such companies, Kalkan is on the list of the best resorts of 2007, according to the British newspaper, The Independent.

The fish restaurant, Korsan Fish Terrace, offers its guests excellent dishes of fresh fish. They can be tasted on the restaurant’s outdoor terrace, with a magnificent view of the sea bay and its high promontories.

In the background, in clear weather, you can see two islands — the island of Snake and the island of Mouse. The islands obtained such unusual names due to the similarity of their shapes with these animals. In pictures taken from space, it seems that the island of Snake overtakes its victim, the island of Mouse.
