Kopachiv, The Kyivan Rus Park. Live Camera

The Kyivan Rus Park is a unique park located about an hour away from the capital of Ukraine. Idea was to recreate the atmosphere of the epoch of Kievan Rus with a maximum of historical authenticity, cultural and architectonical characteristics. Best historians and specialists of the country have worked on this project during several years. Now it is planned to expand the park and build a full-size copy of the ancient Kiev.

Personnel of the Kyivan Rus Park wears authentic ancient Slavic costumes. Visitors of the center can also try this style and get dressed up like people from those times. Among other local attractions are arbalest shooting, medieval safari and quite traditional guided excursions.

This webcam is installed on the walls of the ancient town and captures local tilting-yard (scene) and the princely house (tribunes).
