George Town. Sea View from the Port
In front of us is the Caribbean Sea. The northern part of the port, which is located on the western shore of Grand Cayman, offers a view of the sea. The island can also be reached by air, since Owen Roberts International Airport is located only 4 kilometers from the port.
Tourists who decide to spend their vacation on the Cayman Islands will be pleasantly surprised by the diversity of flora and fauna. The most unusual plants are collected in Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park. Among the rare animals that live on the island, the most significant are the blue iguana and green sea turtle.
Besides tourism, the Cayman Islands are known for their offshore banks, the total number of which is over five hundred. There are 43 from the 50 largest banks in the world! The island’s economy is based on the banking sector, of course.
