London. The River Thames and the City

This webcam is located in London, the capital and largest city of England and the United Kingdom. Our webcam shows the city’s ancient center, so called “the City of London”, with its many landmarks and points of interest.

On the left side of the picture the Blackfriars Bridge can be seen, a beautiful automobile and pedestrian bridge over the River Thames. The Millennium Bridge is located next to it and is a pedestrian bridge built, as its name prompts, to mark the start of the third millennium.

The Millennium Bridge is surrounded by many other landmarks of London. Its southern end is located quite close to the Globe Theatre, the Bankside Gallery and Tate Modern. The northern end — next to the City of London and the famous Saint Paul’s Cathedral.
