Bay Harbor. Little Traverse Bay

In front of you are stunning views of the American resort, Bay Harbor. It is located at one of the northern bays of Lake Michigan. The camera is located at the Inn at Bay Harbor, owned by the Autograph Collection Hotels.

The hotel was built in 2008, next to the marina of Bay Harbor Lake. On the property, we can see an outdoor swimming pool, a gazebo, green lawns, a beach and footpaths. In the hotel, you can either rent a room in the main building or a whole villa. A guest room is $350 per night.

But, the main attraction here is the Little Traverse Bay. A small bay with a depth of about 55 meters is surrounded by parks, golf clubs and hotels. In addition to entertainment on the shore, tourists come here to row, sail and swim. Sailing regattas are held in the bay annually.

Before becoming a popular resort, Bay Harbor used to have a local limestone quarry, a cement plant and other industrial enterprises.

In 2009, a world record was set, which fixed the longest car parade in Bay Harbor. The record has been held for 6 years.
