Los Angeles. The Harbor. The Coastline. The Vincent Thomas Bridge
The Port of Los Angeles is situated 32 kilometres south of downtown, in San Pedro Bay. The port stretches along 69 kilometers of coastline, and occupies about 30 square kilometers in total.
The Port of Los Angeles adjoins the separate Port of Long Beach thus comprising the largest harbor conglomerate on the territory of the U.S. In addition to 23 cargo terminals, this port features several terminals for passengers. Every year over one million tourists from beautiful cruise ships visit this place, the most part of them heading to Hollywood, of course.
In the center of this picture, we can see the famous Vincent Thomas Bridge, built over 50 years ago as an important part of the infrastructure of the port.
