Missoula. Long-Eared Owls

Long-eared owls live here. Unlike sparrows or pigeons, these owls can’t be found everywhere! They are very entertaining to watch.

Long-eared owls look very severe, like they are displeased with everything. Don’t worry, they probably aren’t. Long-eared owls come in a variety of different colors, not only the ones you can see on the owls in the nest.

Despite their varying appearances, all owls of this species can turn their heads 180 degrees.
