New Orleans, Jackson Square. Live Camera

This webcam faces Jackson Square, one of the most famous landmarks of New Orleans. Jackson Square is a historic park located in the French Quarter of the city, close to the Mississippi River. Once called the Place d’Armes, today it occupies territory of 2,5 hectares and is one of the most visited tourist attractions of the city.

Camera’s objective captures the northwestern part of the square with the beautiful white facade of the Saint Louis Cathedral. Here used to be a gathering place of painters of New Orleans. Today the square has become a popular venue for Mardi Gras (annual Carnival celebration) and numerous wedding photo sessions.
